Amasezerano y’ikoreshwa rya Iwange

Terms of Service Agreement. This agreement is between you (the shop owner, “you”) and Iwange (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using any part of the Iwange product, you agree to the terms below. Aya masezerano ni hagati yawe (nyir’iduka) na Iwange — ukoresha serivisi zacu wemera ibi bikurikira.

1. Service

Iwange is an offline-first inventory and point-of-sale system for retail businesses. It covers stock, purchases, sales, debts, expenses, damaged stock, multi-user roles and business reports.

Iwange ni porogaramu yo gucunga ibicuruzwa n’ubucuruzi bwawe. Ikubiyemo: gukurikirana stock, kugura, kugurisha, amadeni, n’inyandiko z’ubucuruzi.

2. Payment

Shop plan: 20,000 FRW per month, charged in advance.
Payment is due before the month begins.
No refunds are issued after a billing period starts.
Accepted methods: MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, bank transfer. VAT is included in the displayed price.

Igiciro: 20,000 FRW buri kwezi. Wishyura mbere y’uko ukwezi gutangira. Nta garuka ry’amafaranga nyuma yo kwishyura.

3. Suspension

If payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, the account is suspended.
While suspended, the app remains read-accessible for settings and support, but transactional features (sales, stock changes, reports) are locked.
Accounts are reactivated within 24 hours of confirmed payment.

4. Your data

All shop data you enter — items, sales, debts, customers — belongs to you.
We do not sell, share or otherwise commercially exploit your business data.
You may export your full dataset as CSV at any time, free of charge.

5. Data deletion

On account deletion, your data is retained for 5 calendar days as a safety window, then permanently destroyed.
After this window, data cannot be recovered. Export before requesting deletion.
Backups and write-ahead logs older than 30 days are also pruned. We retain aggregate, anonymised metrics only.

6. Prohibited use

Using Iwange for any activity that is illegal under Rwandan law.
Entering or fabricating false business records intended to deceive third parties.
Attempting to access another tenant’s data or to bypass authentication.
Reselling, sub-licensing or repackaging Iwange without written permission.

7. Liability

Iwange is not liable for business losses, including but not limited to lost sales, lost stock, or third-party disputes.
You are responsible for keeping at least one independent backup of your business data. Exports are provided for this purpose.
We target high uptime and continuously improve reliability, but no SaaS service can guarantee 100%.

8. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kigali.

9. Contact us

Version 1.0 — last updated January 1, 2025. We may revise these terms; material changes are announced in-product and via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
